. "1"^^ . "No. Absolutely not. I'm one step closer in closing my accounts for what they did today. Finally, finally (!!!!) I paid my loan in full...or so I thought. I checked my account thoroughly online, and it showed two balances - one that stated \"account balance\" and one that stated \"amount due\". Since the amount due was a tiny bit higher than the account balance, I paid the amount due. I figured they included the full interest in that amount. I even took it one step further and took a screenshot of both amounts. Call it premonition that they were going to try to screw me over.\n\nToday - something told me to check my account. I logged on - and saw that my loan was delinquent. Delinquent! But I paid the account in full on Tuesday! What the hell??? And here's the kicker - it was delinquent by $0.02. Yes, two freakin' pennies. 2/100th of a dollar. Are they out of their mind??? So I called them. Here's my issue, and I discussed it with the representative and the manager I spoke with...why doesn't the website reflect the true amount owed on the account? They tried to tell me that I had to call them for a \"true\" payoff - but why? And how? As mentioned in my previous reviews, I have attempted to call them before only to get their voicemail. And because I'm currently in another timezone (I travel quite frequently for my job), it adds unnecessary stress. What do they want me to do, sit around and wait for their phone call? I do work - and really just need a quick answer. I was amazed and astonished that I actually got a real person on the line when I did call. \n\nI really don't appreciate that I was made to feel like I don't pay my bills. The first representative (Sue?) indicated that she could not access my account because it was delinquent. I'm shaking my head as I'm typing this...delinquent for 2 cents - for 3 days, according to them. She was quick to suggest that she could transfer the amount from my checking into the loan. But that did not solve my issue...why doesn't their website reflect the true amount? So the amount due is an arbitrary number? Where the hell do any of the amounts come from? I spoke to the manager (Mike) and he did provide his sincerest apologies, but still couldn't answer my question. So I gave up arguing and paid the amount. But - had I not checked the website to confirm the loan was paid off...they would have reported me to the credit bureaus. Once again, all for $0.02 (which in 30 days would have still been less than $1.00). Mike advised me that Riverset would have contacted me, but I don't believe that. I just don't - with all the difficulties I have with contacting them...why in the world would they take the proactive stance and contact me? \n\nI'm really irritated, but more than anything I'm sad. This establishment is so money-hungry it's ridiculous. What should have happened is that they should have admitted that they were wrong, that their website provided the wrong information, and not charged me the additional $0.02. What's sad is that Pittsburgh Teacher's Credit Union would have done that. Two pennies. All for two lousy pennies. If the true amount had been reflected on my account online, I would have paid it. And the first representative mentioned that there may have been a balance due in prior months - absolutely not. I overpaid on all my payments. Which has me wondering - where did my extra payments go?\n\nMike did advise me that they are trying to create a call center with extended hours for their customers. I say it's too little, too late. I don't care at this point. As I've said before, steer clear from this establishment. Unless you want to get screwed over."^^ . "10"^^ . "1"^^ . "1"^^ . . "2016-01-21T00:00:00"^^ . .
