"I had a good dining experience here. My Dad and I went for trivia night and it was my first time there. My Dad was visiting Madison from Germany, and having grown up there myself I was excited a new German restaurant opened in Madison. \n\nThe hostess was extremely friendly, she would seat guests and also make rounds and conversation with guests once seated. Our server was friendly as well, although it seemed he had little to no knowledge of Germany which I am sure is not a requirement for staff, although it would be nice.\n\nWe shared the potato pancake appetizer which was really good. The two dipping sauces, sour cream or apples allow you to eat them sweet and/or savory depending on your preference. I think they could have been prepared crispier. \n\nI ordered the Doner and am thrilled they added that option to the menu because it is as much of a staple in Germany despite being Turkish, as Tikki Masala is in London. The Doner was excellent, although I am not a huge fan of Lamb meat and it does taste very \"Lamb-y\". I think blending it with another meat could improve the taste, then again if you are someone who loves lamb then you will really like it just the way it is. \n\nI ordered a Radler to drink which was good.\n\nA few recommendations I would make to the restaurant would be to include Gluhwein on their winter menu. Also, I noticed they spelled Wienerschnitzel \"Weinerschnitzel\" on their winter menu. Not a big deal, but if you want to be an authentic German restaurant the spelling should be correct. If you need a proof reader let me know, I'd be happy to."^^ . "0"^^ . "2016-12-15T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . . . . "1"^^ . "4"^^ .
