I've been here since September 2017, so I knew what to expect, but I was told construction would be over by the end of the year (December 2017). Nope! There is currently a dump truck outside of my apartment slamming tons of hard concrete into the bed of a truck - not the best alarm clock but never would I have thought that this would be an ongoing thing. (Tons of hard concrete being moved the day after they decided to jackhammer their way thru to what I'm assuming was a pipe? Gotta love these alarm clocks)\n\nSince we've lived here\n- our water has been shut off 4 times (we can thank construction for that)\n\n- 5 men came knocking at the door and barged right in saying they were \"maintenance\" without any notice!! ..Now remember, I work the noc shift, so if only you can imagine how much of a rude awakening that was. Were they really maintenance? Haha who knows! No email and no notice posted. Neighbor said the same thing happened to her and when she called the office to ask if there was maintenance going around knocking on doors, they told her they posted notices on our doors & maybe it was just really windy last night..... Funny.\n\n-Neighbor said her power randomly shuts off in the middle of the day & has had to call maintenance\n\n- I haven't seen security roaming the community in the recent months. Maybe they ran away with the old staff? \n\n- No speed bumps, so cars are constantly speeding their way through the complex. (you would think people just have common sense?)\n\nThe staff up front appears to be new and if you go in every once in a while to check mail / grab a snack or drink, they won't acknowledge you unless you're inquiring. I do miss the staff that helped move me in, they actually said hi! \n\nAt my old apartment, we had social events once a month at the very least. Not many social gatherings are held. This may be too much to ask for from the staff since they won't even try to recognize their residents or figure out their names. Everyone goes their own way and does their own thing. Not a friendly community because no social \"get to know each other\" events whatsoever, and you could really see it.\n\nOnly good thing about these apartments are the amenities, and these apartments are beautiful. Downfall: you're losing sleep if you work noc or wake up after 7am and you PAY about $150+ on top of rent for these amenities - is it worth it??? I'dddddd say keep looking where staff actually cares about you :)\n\n-END RANT"^^ . . "7"^^ .
