. "Stayed 2 nights in April and again in May. First if all, this hotel is going through a transition. It's being remodeled a little at a time. The first floor has remodeled rooms. I stayed in the best room which is room 1100. The rooms are large and the bed is a queen. The curtains do not filter the sunlight so bring aluminum foil and tape. The front desk girls are very nice and do their best to check in quickly. \n\n The security is comprised of a maintenance man..not a professional outside agency. However he does do a great job. No issues the first night and the pool and hot tub are open 24 hours. \n\n\n2nd visit was exactly 30 days later on May 8 through 10. I was able to check in early and was booked into room 1118, Security patrols were very often. The pool was full of leaves and debris from a very windy day, so cleaning it was pointless..did that stop me from swimming? Nope! The water was about 68 degrees.\n\nThe morning I was supposed to be checking out my car window was smashed and a radar detector was stolen...that was all..I had all kinds of things in the car..even a spare set if keys to that car. The maintenance and security helped me out a lot. I ended up using a shop vac to suck up all the broken glass and some clear packing tape to make a temp window and it worked even during the 100 mph winds we had on my way home may 11\n\nI'm willing to bet another hotel guest saw my radar and broke my window to get it...it was worth maybe $10 and about 10 yrs old\n\nIf you do decide to stay here...do not leave anything in your car in plain view... The staff does its best to watch the lots and my car was on the west face of the main bldg. and parked facing the cement wall. I doubt a prowler was peeking at cars..it was another guest.\n\nNow when I checked out the manager already knew my situation having to drive 8 hours home with a broken window. He was more than considerate and he reversed the charges ..so my stay was free\n\nI will continue to stay at this hotel but I will be parking my car in front of the lobby where the shuttle parks. I might even help watch the lots since this all happened between 6 am and 9 am when people check out.\n\nIf you stay here please understand this hotel is going through a transition and they remodel as much as they can for the time of year. The lobby looks great, the pool and patio area are very well kept and the elevator was very quick.\n\nThis review was written by Bradley Bern oif modesto, ca"^^ . "3"^^ . "1"^^ . . "0"^^ .
