"I've done all three of their rooms now and I'm just not impressed at all.\n\nThe final puzzle in the mad scientist (professor?) room is ridiculous and they need to remove it. It's not so much even a puzzle as a game of skill - something you would find at a carnival, not an escape room. We wasted our last 10 minutes trying to complete it and were very frustrated. \n\nWe most recently did the hostage rescue room and not 5 minutes into the game, something was malfunctioning. We had to radio the host to come in to the room to manually deliver the clue. I feel like this must happen often, so I'm wondering why they keep this puzzle/apparatus in the room.\n\nThere is also a part of the game where if you aren't aware of a certain part of the room being part of a puzzle, and you reposition the items involved, you're screwed and cannot solve the room. I do not understand the logic behind having something like this in the room and I can't imagine how many times it must happen where the host has to come in put these items back how they were to fix the game.\n\nAlso one of the locks wouldn't open with the correct code. The host came over the speaker and said \"feel free to be rough with that lock\". Low and behold the lock opened when I literally wrenched on it. C'mon lock down... spend $10 on a new padlock. There was also a duplicate clue that we found - obviously left in by the host when they couldn't get the original unstuck from where it was hidden.\n\nA lot of the furniture was coming apart as well. All and all, this place doesn't compare to anything in the Los Angeles area (where I live). I've never encountered so many lame issues in one room before. I'm surprised they didn't offer us a refund seeing that we were visibly unhappy with our experience there. Don't waste your money until they decide to do some much needed maintanence and puzzle re-working."^^ . "1"^^ . "2"^^ .
