The second time, my dog seemed afraid to stay and ran back to me shaking and whining. The way the groomer took his leash was very ominous, I just didn't feel good about leaving him there and I wish I had not. The sweetie-poo routine from the desk person means NOTHING.\n\nUntil the second time I didn't realize where he was getting the fungus--which, by the way, cost me $200 in vet fees and medicine plus the time to put on the medicines....Just now I was looking at the Dog Salon site and I swear that is his foot with the long nails and nail design polish on it. I never authorized such a thing. Did Dog Salon give him fungus by using him for a free \"fancy nails\" advertisement and using poor hygeine? Or do they need basic hygeine in the bathing area?\n\nOne time he was sprayed heavily and directly in the face with perfume--which I've told them I'm allergic to--so badly that his eyes were running and they re-did the bath and he still stank and oozed.\n\nFurthermore, I've paid for undercoat removal that wasn't done completely and they won't REDO their work, and whine about using three different manual tools for it, but I see on their site that they use a backwards vacuum cleaner and blow ALL the undercoat out of a huge Samoyed--so they are not being forthcoming about this. What, do they want a big tip for whining, versus doing their job? It is not cheap, there are people with masters' degrees taking in less per hour than they do. Once when I waited for him, his bath and blowout was done in TEN MINUTES for SIXTY BUCKS that's, wait, $6/MIN or $360/HOUR!!!!!\n\nSHORT STORY ABOUT THIS PLACE--THEY NEED A REAL MANAGER WITH REAL ANIMAL ETHICS TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE PARTY PEOPLE WHO ARE UPSET THEY HAVE TO STAY AWAKE AND WORK DURING THE DAY. \n\n(OLD REVIEW)\nI have used both the self serve, which is just OK, and the regular services. I took my medium sized dog with heavy sled dog style coat several times. I believe Brandi was the groomer and she was great. Then a (new?) manager came on board, a woman, this was 2 years ago or so, and my dog started to emerge from there with major quality problems and directions not followed--and the last time, with a small bite mark on his face that has left a scar."^^ .
