. . "2"^^ . "This was my first time staying at Trump Tower. I was pretty disappointed with my experience, as I was expecting more from a hotel of this caliber. Upon check in, Cesar the valet was very nice, but the front desk staff weren't anything special. They move at a glacier pace, and don't expedite their line fast enough. The wait was redicious both times that I visited the front desk. The room was spacious (one bedroom suite) but the cleanliness of the room wasn't there. I found several strans of someone else's hair on the wall of the shower. The furniture was outdated and looked very worn and not very clean. The upkeep and maintenance weren't up to par. The bed was uncomfortable, with minimal bedding that you would find in a two star hotel. The pillows also need to be thrown out, as it felt and smelled like it has been through some heads. The washing machine went on for 2 1/2 hrs with no way to stop it, (I called downstairs and was told that) as it made the loudest thumping noise possible. I thought security was going to be called for a noise complaint. Every morning a free wake up call is provided without requesting one. The very loud train passes right next to the hotel very early in the morning and late at night while blasting it's horn. Nevertheless you will be awakened and that wasn't very favorable while on vacation, especially for the price I'm paying. The hotel should disclose that bit of information. While calling the operator, housekeeping and the front desk no one was very hospitable. They were all snippy and was rushing to get off the phone. They didn't address me by my last name, nor ask if there was anything else they could assist me with. Customer service doesn't seem to be their priority. If you valet a car give yourself a good 15 mins as the valet took awhile each time. They seemed understaffed and didn't move very fast as well, however out of all of the staff they were the most friendliest. Upon check out (I checked out a day early) there was a charge on my bill that wasn't mine. How did that happen? Don't they verify room number and last name before allowing a room charge? If I knew that, I would have ordered room service and charged it to Donald bottom line I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I didn't feel welcomed or appreciated as a guest.
