I saw more of the busser and food runners than my server, but even they were still borderline clueless about proper service. The server didn't seem to care about steps of service or maybe he didn't know them. We waited for about 10 minutes before getting acknowledged of our existence. During that time we finally did get greeted, there was no drink order and didn't get to hear the specials like the tables around us with a different server. We received our drinks after we ate the appetizers, had to stop someone to ask for plates to share the appetizers and water refills, and had to serve our own wine. All the while, our server came by (when he decided to stop by)with a happy smile as if we were enjoying the horrific service. I felt like I should have been on a prank show to test my frustration. We didn't get any acknowledgement that the entire experience was lousy. With too many employees walking by and lack of care for your guests, I doubt it will be a place we care to return. To top it off, our server was training someone! Wow. That's quite the example of setting yourself up for failure. This should be a nice restaurant. You're paying for the good food and that is all. It's understandable I can't expect perfection, but some sort of \"sorry to keep you waiting\", \"thank you for your patience\", something said to let us know we are appreciated and not just an expected gratuity at the end would have been nice and changed our minds about this place. I hope they care to read this and re-train the staff about what steps of service means for every single guest and reconsider who does any training if you want this business to be successful. As a local, I really hoped I could be writing a better review and feel rather lenient to give 3 stars or an appropriate gratuity tonight without making a complaint."^^ . "0"^^ .
