I pretty much exclusively use Lenmar 2700 mAh AA batteries for my work and this is the only place I have found them which is why I'm here on this trip. I found that they don't carry them anymore, not a big deal stores stop carrying things all the time but I picked up a couple 4 packs of a Tenergy equivalent. The battery isle, as always was in complete disarray so no way to see what the price was and to my surprise when I went to check out, the 4 pack of batteries is $19.99. Almost double the cost of the Lenmar batteries I used to buy here regularly to cycle out the aging ones I have pressed into service. Not only that but a quick trip on my Amazon app pulled up the same 4 pack of Tenergy batteries for $9.99 a 4 pack. I questioned the checker, which was useless. I attached a screen shot of the same batteries from my Amazon app. \n\nHere's my bullet point play by play review of Fry's as a whole. \n1. The store has things that you can't usually find other places. Lots of specialty items and selection is pretty great. \n2. The place is always trashed. Items are never where they should be yet there's a million workers wandering around. \n3. The bathrooms are disgusting. More than once, no soap, and bodily fluids all over the floor, toilets and urinals. Completely unacceptable. \n4. Asking for help from staff is like asking the life long deaf to describe Led Zeppelin or the life long blind to describe a sunrise. When I have a question while I am in Fry's I consult google rather than go through the irritating poke in the eye that is to speak to a worker there. Even if there was a fire blazing in one of the depts I would refuse to ask a worker where a fire extinguisher is or where an exit is. \n5. I actually was chastised by an employee once while looking for a CF memory card. He said and I quote \"don't you think you should upgrade to better technology? CF cards are useless and no one will use them in the future I don't think we carry anything that old\". Um I'm sorry my brand new $7,000 Nikon flagship camera uses technology you don't approve of, can you just say yes or no and not scold me for your opinions? \n6. I actually came here with a friend and made a game of seeing how many times we could get a worker to say I don't know, I'm not sure or try to \"sell\" me on whatever they were pushing. The result was astonishing as to how many workers couldn't answer the simplest of questions. Not a question like how do reverse thrusters work in combination of camber and drag to steer and slow a rocket, but questions like does this tv connect to the internet or is this plug and play or where's he bathroom. \n7. Return policy is great. \n8. The \"deli\" is a nice touch albeit the prices are as if Joel Robuchon himself is making the sourdough turkey and cheese sammy they smash mayo and mustard on. Terrible, plus see #3 no soap in bathrooms so uh dude slathering together cheap lunch meat on a sammy prob hasn't used soap. \n9. The check out process is awful. Even though they have like a hundred registers they are all never open even when there's a line winding through the store. If you're the only person in line, prepare to wait, which I think is why the food station is there to fuel you for the wait to pay them. \n10. Every checker, in several dozen trips over the years here, has a terrible attitude. They look angry, and you can tell they hate working here. May be because customers are so irritated with the above they take it out on the checkers. \n\nI'll avoid this place for good and shop at Amazon."^^ . "1"^^ . "1"^^ .
