I had really high hopes, considering it is Tom Colicchio's restaurant. I had the hanger steak and it was mediocre. I've had hanger steaks at several different restaurants in the past and this was by far the worst. We ordered mushrooms to share at the table and they were flavorless. Typically mushrooms are cooked in wine, or saut\u00E9ed in butter, but these were hard, very woody and were not transformed at all. For the price they charge at this restaurant I expect a lot better. \n\nWith the above said, service was very good and some of the appetizers we ordered were really good. The arugula salad was excellent, the pur\u00E9ed potatoes were very good and the prosciutto was fantastic.
