This place is so beautiful and so perfect for a wedding! We were very lucky the weather held up because it was exactly how we imagined our day to be. They did have a rain backup in case of bad weather that was included as well, but it wasn't our preference. They also helped us set up a bridal getting-ready room because we didn't have anywhere else that would be able to accomodate us. They even got us a full length mirror to add in there! While we did have an onsite coordinator, we did have to set up the decorations ourselves (I believe for liability reasons). Overall, we were super happy with the Terrace and our wedding was magical!\n\nThere is only 1 small complaint for why I'm not giving it a full 5-stars. They have a VERY strict no outside food or beverage policy that was a bit of a challenge to work with- this is not the fault of any of the staff and they were all amazing to work with (especially Edit & Natalie!!!). However, we were not allowed to do some of the unity rituals we had been considering- drinking mixed wine (you had to buy their wine and couldn't bring in your own- this is in compliance with WI law, so I understood this part), we had considered bringing in white whiskey to pour into an oak cask for aging (no drinking) but we would have to buy whiskey from them & we would have to finish it there- we couldn't take it away for aging, etc. This also was a bit of a hassle in trying to get lunch- we ended up paying $500 for salads, granola bars, fruit, sparkling water & prosecco (3 bottles- admittedly). I believe we could have kept it closer to $200 if we were able to bring in our own food.\n\nI'm not saying this as a complaint, because we entered into the agreement knowing fully well this policy and the restrictions around it. However, it is something to consider for any potential future guests.
