The area is a little shady, but hey...it is downtown Phoenix.  Staff was super nice when I checked in. You will be asked for your America's Best Value card if you book with one. The best deal for this hotel I found online through their website. Best place on a budget if you need to stay downtown.\n\nDownfall: A/C was not on when I checked into the room - so it took me an hour to make my room cool in 105+degree weather.
