"0"^^ . "I have an Xbox One and have been devoted to it. However, with the dry spell of exclusive titles and the fact that Sony's been releasing stellar first-party games, I decided I wanted a PS4, but I had no intention of paying full price or even getting a new one, not when pre-owned ones exist.\n\nI came across this place through Craigslist, though I didn't know it was a pawn shop because they didn't mention it in the posting. They were selling a 1 TB slim PS4 with one controller, a controller stand (bonus), and all obligatory cables, all for only 235.00. I texted them at the number they provided to clarify a few points. My two-star review is based on the customer experience and actual product.\n\nI'm always sensitive to the type of service any merchant provides. The experience via text message was friendly and professional from the start, which impressed me. I had several questions, and the employee answered promptly. I drove 27 miles to this location, so you can imagine I was relieved that when I first walked into the shop, the employees were friendly and professionally dressed, interacting professionally with other customers. Everything was neatly arranged and clean. Pawn shops are not known for cleanliness and customer-focused interactions. What a welcomed change in this case.\n\nWhen I told them I was there to purchase a PS4 I had already inquired about, they promptly got the employee I was texting with. She quickly brought the system out, offered to set it up for me to test, and even gave me an Internet-only discount. Completing the purchase was easy and seamless, too. I was in and out with 10 minutes, at most.\n\nUnfortunately, I've had some issues in the four days since purchase. Yesterday evening, the controller tower stopped working, so it no longer charges the controller without having to firmly push in and hold the charging cable to the base. Also, the controller's faulty as well, as the calibration is off. On several occasions, characters or screen cursor will move upward autonomously. I have to gently shake the remote to stop it. It hasn't affected gameplay much but definitely has the potential to. The system itself hasn't shown any issues, though.\n\nWhat's saving this from a one-star review is my decision not to test the device when she gave me the opportunity. I have to take responsibility for my own part in this as well.\n\nOverall, great customer service but poor product. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place for anyone looking for quality pre-owned electronics."^^ . . . "2018-06-19T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ . "2"^^ .
