I don't know if it's that I just can't eat as much as I used to or if it's that there's so many buffets locally in So Cal, but I am underwhelmed by Vegas Buffets now. \n\nWalking around the buffet and selecting my food items, I felt like I was in a HomeTown Buffet, but with better quality food. The salad bar was like Souplantion's with knock offs of it's signature dishes like Joan's Broccoli Madness. I found a lot of stuff that I liked, like chicken wings, shrimp cocktail, BBQ ribs and of course the desserts. The 'sushi' as with many of the dishes in the Chinese section (Sushi? Chinese?) were definitely 'Meh.' I passed on the Mexican food section because I thought it would be too fattening to add to the already fattening food I chose. I like the self serve beverage bar. Nice selection of juices and sodas.\n\nAnn the waitress was nice. She reminded me of Yeardley Smith. I don't know exactly what her role was because all that she really needed to do was take away finished plates and give napkins. She was friendly and struck up a conversation with me. She's been working there since the hotel opened 19 years ago!\n\nNot a bad buffet, not a great one, but one that helped me get a variety of food that I wanted because I'm always indecisive about what to eat."^^ . . .
