"Pita Cafe is a casual order-at-the-counter place serving standard Middle Eastern fare. This puts it one step above fast food, but it is an important step. At Pita Cafe the food tastes fresh probably because a lot of it is prepared not too far ahead, and it is served attractively. On the other hand, prices are pretty high for an eatery without table service, even a couple of dollars higher than similar restaurants in some cases. Is it worth it?\n\nI think it is because the food not only tastes fresh but it has flavor and style (except for the abundant but bland rice). It's a pleasure to eat here for lunch and the portions are large enough to consider it for dinner too.\n\nNOTE: If you bought a Local Flavor certificate after Dec. 1, they will not honor it. The counter clerk told me that Local Flavor was not authorized to sell certificates for them after this date."^^ . . "2"^^ . "0"^^ . "2018-01-29T00:00:00"^^ . . "5"^^ . "1"^^ . .
