It happened to be my birthday weekend and so a group of friends and I went out to celebrate. I wasn't feeling too good the next day and my friend suggested trying this place out. I was a bit skeptical if it was going to help and how it all worked. I called ahead to see if they were busy and headed over there. I just walked in, no appointment and was greeted by two nurses. They asked me if I've been there before, and had me fill out a couple papers and went over my options for an IV that addressed my symptoms. I told them it was my first time and about my birthday and they instantly told me that any IV would be 25% off! For being my first time I didn't really know what IV would be the best option, but the nurse Meagan was able to easier go over each one and explain the advantages of the IVs. Being that I wasn't feeling well and that I was probably dehydrated she suggested I go with the Immune System Booster. I took her advice and headed into the lounge area and took a seat. Surprisingly the chairs were super comfortable and they had huge flat screen TVs, this was great because the Saints and Vikings game was on! Anyways, nurse Meagan came and asked me some follow up questions to make sure I didn't have any allergies they may not know of, as well as she took my temperature and blood pressure to see how my vitals were. Everything checkout good! She left to make the IV bag with all the components I requested on the spot and came back. Hung the bag up and now was the part I wasn't looking forward to...I'm not a huge fan of needles, I don't think anyone really is, but what I found out was it's not the same as like giving blood or anything it's actually a lot less painful and the needle doesn't stay in your arm it's just connecting what they call a catheter. Either way I looked away and by my surprise I literally barely felt a pitch. It didn't hurt at all! I sat back, watched the game, and relaxed. After about 20 mins I actually started feeling better! The IV bag was done in about 40 mins, Meagan came back and unplugged me. I felt great! Pretty much 100! I slept great that night and the next day I had great energy! Sorry for my review being so long, but I know for others that if it's your first time you don't know what to expect, and I read other reviews but they didn't give me enough details, so hopefully that helps new people wondering about the whole process. Until next time! Thanks Viva!"^^ . . .
