However, I had a bad experience when I discovered that my contract had been rolling over past my two year term for nearly a year. In total, I had been charged over $400, but hadn't been using the gym (because I thought my membership was expired!). After two unhelpful conversations with the gym manager, I decided to call corporate and explain the scenario. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism over the phone - they basically told me it was my fault and there was nothing they could do to help. I expected better customer service from such a large corporation. Lesson learned - read the contract! Otherwise, my experience with exercising at Goodlife was positive overall."^^ . . . "2"^^ .
