Ok, the way some of these people described this place made me think I was gonna walk into some kind of shithole. This place is adorable!! Small and cozy. Very Mardi gras themed, but not over the top. We went around 6:15 on Saturday and were seated right away. Waitress really nice, knowledgable, and attentive. We ordered the jalape\u00F1o deviled eggs and they came with a ton of jalape\u00F1os which weren't needs, since the eggs had a nice kick already, but needed more mayo. Obviously premade, but good. We saw other plates coming out and they looked big so we split the half fried chicken and two sides. The wait was a little long, but it's cooked fresh and it was understandable. The chicken was hot and fresh and crispy and good.! Not the best fried chicken I've ever had but very good. Spices were really nice and not over-the-top but delicious. Tasted very homemade. The potato salad was really good had some horseradish in it. I've never had fried okra but they're on the same type of flavor profile as a zucchini and they were pretty good too. Overall, the chicken was good and I would definitely go back but I definitely want to try another chicken place that might beat this one. I think it might be Price's Chicken Coop as far as I hear."^^ . "0"^^ .
