I just let her do her magic.\n\nShe's patient and friendly. I explained that I had sensitive skin and wanted to use my own concealer and foundation and it wasn't a problem. She's also really fast and finished my make-up in less than 15 minutes. I also thought $38 was a good price.\n\nThe only thing that really disappointed me was the up-do. When I called, I was quoted $75 and was given a woman's name. However, when I showed up, they assigned me Mario.\n\nI didn't think much of it but when I started talking to him and showing him a photo of the updo I wanted, I thought he was condescending and indirectly made fun of me. It was a \"messy/elegant\" style.\n\nHe also blamed my hair saying that it wasn't long enough and it was too layered but was going to \"try\" anyway. You know what? I didn't say it at the time but I looked hideous! No way I was going to walk around like that!\n\nI took a deep breath and politely said, \"This wasn't what I expected\" and kindly asked him to do another updo; something more simple and would \"work\" with my hair. So at the end, I ended up getting a simple \"tucked\" chignon. It was OK but not what I had originally wanted. Then I was charged $95!\n\nAnyway, even if my hair wasn't \"suitable\" for that updo, at least say it politely. I just thought he had an attitude and I would never recommend him to my friends.\n\nI still love Grace though. She's great! I'm just going to stick with the make-up."^^ . "2012-08-04T00:00:00"^^ . .
