Only because I don't give 5\n\nI have read reviews for years and figured I might as well start giving my thoughts because after reading some of the negative reviews I was having a hard time deciding who to rent from. Dollar had the best rate at the time so I took a chance but the reviews were making me second guess. After much reading etc I signed up for Dollar Express. It took a few days to confirm my membership but well worth it. We arrived 12:30am. There were about 7-8 people in the regular line but we went to express check in. Only 1 lady in line in front of me who barely spoke english and had no clue what she was doing. The attendants took care of me right away. \n\nI had rented a compact and was hoping for a Ford Focus and the attendant said all she had for an available compact was a Ford Focus. Perfect. I was going to do a lot of hwy driving and wanted something with good mileage. It didn't let me down. I averaged 38 miles per gallon driving at about 75+ miles an hour. \n\nNo problems checking in or on return. I had a copy of my personal auto insurance in my pocket just in case I got hassled. I also paid with a credit card that will give secondary coverage on car rental insurance and I am a AAA premium member so I just declined all coverage and was never hassled. There was a small ding or 2 on the car and I made note of it on the contract. The check out attendant looked and also initialed the contract so I was OK. \n\nMy estimated total was exactly what I ended up paying. I reserved online at the Dollar site after much research of various sites. Dollar at the time had the best rate. Ended up paying around $200 for 9/10 days. I hate to admit but I put a lot of miles on the car. Didn't plan it that way, just happened. Thank God for unlimited mileage.\n\nI gave them 4 stars but want to make it 3 and a half. I will not give anyone or anything 5. Also the car I rented was a bit dirty. The dash was dusty and the outside was not the cleanest but it was something I could live with and it wasn't completely filthy just the dash on the inside. When I returned it, it was covered with bugs from my driving so I know they had to send it through the wash but I am sure my car fell through the cracks when I picked it up because all the other cars looked very clean.\n\nVery friendly and helpful staff.\nGreat experience and will use them again."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
