That being said, I paid for grass in the front yard, which previously was just about all weeds. While doing the landscaping the yard was tore up. I figured they would at least kill the existing weeds and till it up, rake it and plant seed. What I got was seed and hay just thrown on top of clay and weeds. It wasn't raked, the tractor tracks weren't smoothed out. Now because the prep work wasn't done the yard is full of weeds and I have since spent considerable money on more seed and fertilizer. \nBut my biggest complaint is the lack of responsiveness when issues arise. The plants are guaranteed for a year but good luck having anyone return a call. You have to call & call & call & call- you get it, it's ridiculous. I would probably look elsewhere for my landscaping needs in the future but since the yard looks good I will give them 3 stars. The problem is it's been just a little to much of a hassle dealing with them to want to use them again\nUPDATE: 3/9/2015\nI have updated my review from 3 stars down to 1. I can't recommend this place. Banner appears to be that type of business that tells you everything you as a customer want to hear to gain your business. After you hand them a check and its cashed that's where it all ends. Follow up customer service is simply horrendous. We have been trying to have Paul Banner out to our home to address some concerns since just after Christmas, it's now March. This man will not return calls and when you finally get him on the phone he will flat out lie to you to get you off the phone. 2x he has given us days he will be there only to be a no call no show. I can't stress this enough- look elsewhere for your landscaping. Banners after the sale service demonstrates a lack of concern for their customers and a complete lack of respect for other people's time, it's not like we don't have things to do so when we are told someone is coming we hang around waiting for them. I am now forced to send a certified letter to these folks detailing our concerns so if a plant dies after the warranty period I have some recourse. Do yourself a favor- go elsewhere.\nUPDATE: 4/2/2015\nAfter my wife didn't have any success getting Banner to come out to our home in almost 4 months of trying I decided to call myself. On March 21 I called Banner and requested a call from Paul Banner and let them know I was not pleased with the level of service we were receiving. To my surprise Paul Banner called me back in about 20 minutes and told me he would be out to our home the next week to address all our concerns. Well as expected next week came and went and now this week and still he is a no-show. I called Banner Nurseries and once again requested a call from Paul Banner, to date nobody has called me back. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!\nUPDATE: 4/20/2015\nAfter never receiving a call back from Banner Nursery I was forced to waste my time and actually drive there and speak to someone in person which is what I did on Friday 4/3/2015. I spoke to a manager and told him of this ridiculous ordeal. He assured me someone would be out to take care of my issues next week. To my surprise Paul Banner came out on Monday, April 6 and looked everything over and said a few plants needed replacing and he would be back later in the week with new plants and take care of everything. Well- he left and we haven't seen him or heard from him since- it's now the 20th. Nothing has been taken care of yet! I have never dealt with a business like this in my life.\nUPDATE: 8/12/15\nAfter being blown off yet again I finally had had enough and dropped by Banner Nursery. To my surprise they actually had the nerve to request I leave my phone number again for Paul Banner. At that point lets just say my irritation came to head and I'm very sure they got the message this time. The next morning Paul Banner was at my home to replace dead plants and a bush that was previously replaced but with the wrong type that did not match the other bushes. Again, they did not replace the bush with the same type so this bush still looks odd. That being said, we've given up on these complete idiots. I will just bring a branch to another nursery and replace it myself. I have never had to deal with a business like this and I just don't have the energy to continue with it. Never again, ever will I give these people a dime of my money or recommend these people to anyone. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a business. Do yourself a favor, do not use these people for anything. \nConsider this review ZERO stars. Unfortunately yelp doesn't give me that option but this is without a doubt a ZERO star business.\nUPDATE: 9/26/15\nTook a snip of a branch to Round Tree and within 2 minutes they were able to do what Banner was unable to do after almost a year and two tries. They matched up the correct color and variety of Azalea and I planted it myself-"^^ .
