The staff is super friendly and the decor is super modern but as the for the overpriced coffee thing I just don't get it. Starbucks has this market down on lock. Their small is 8 ounces and their 12 ounces is a large. Their large is equivalent to the Starbucks small. So you're paying 2 to 3 bucks more for a coffee you could get that has better name recognition? I get it I'm all into supporting local businesses like blue bird Cafe but this place doesn't have me sold yet. I walk in and I get a hello and then they look at me like I should know what to order. I'm not an espresso expert so I expect the baristas to tell me what to order. When they ask what I like they offer your standard cup of coffee, latte or mocha. When I ask for a vanilla latte they scoff and say we don't add syrups and they should taste the espresso. That's like those bars that only serve high end aged barreled whiskeys and scoff when you ask for a light beer. I get that's your expertise but some people don't like really strong coffee. \n\nQuestion do you make flat whites? That is the next big thing. They should have big signs saying try our flat white and if they can price it under $4 for their 8oz they'd be gold. \n\nI give them 4/5 stars because the product and services are good just not enough to make me want to come back again until they can do something to wow me. \n\nOh and the cool Christmas tree in the milk froth is badass. Keep it up. You guys need clear container lids though to show the artwork."^^ .
