Not too long ago I moved to the area from San Diego. There are 3 Nordstrom stores within the San Diego city limits, none of which has much on the Pittsburgh store in terms of aesthetics and selection. The service and overall feel at this Pittsburgh store does tend to be a little less formal, which is nice, though Nordstrom die-hards may feel some elegance is missing from an experience at this store compared to more established Nordstroms.\n\nWomen's Shoes and Men's Shoes--where I spend most of my time when in this store--are great. What a selection. The Men's Shoes Department has especially come really far in recent months--high-end stuff mixed in with more affordable brands and styles. Looking for crocodile Jimmy Choo sneaks? They've got them. How about Ferragamo drivers? Got those too. Need some spectacular John Varvatos Collection kicks for work or play? Nordstrom's got you covered.\n\nAt some point I plan to review the Nordstrom caf\u00E9 separately, but I've gotta give it some credit here too. It's very good, especially the desserts. Some of the best cookies and cupcakes I've ever had anywhere, really.\n\nOh, and who's PUMPED about the Nordstrom Rack that's coming to the Northway Mall down the road? I AM! Can't wait."^^ . .
