"My husband and I moved into these apartments back in November of 2016. During the walk thru I noticed MOLD. I had advised the macitence there was mold and their reaction : \" they are old apartments what do you expect \". In Nevada there is actually a law about mold, and it isn't suppose to be present in ANY rental property . It took them over a MONTH to do ANYTHING. They sent one gentleman to my apartment whom didn't speak any English . My husband is Hispanic so he talked to him . They supposedly didn't have the tools to remove the mold. Weird right? Considering I can withhold my rent , goto court, and now run the apartments name thru the mud. So my husband stepped up and took the mold into his hands. He attempted to remove the mold and then sealed off the bathtub that wasn't priorly sealed . So keep in mind the MOLD IS STILL THERE. It's just masked . So next issue , PARKING. They do not have assigned parking. So you can only imagine how that goes . Not to mention they do not monitor the parking . Supposedly as the lease states anyways, only residents park in covered parking . Yet that is NEVER enforced . What else ? THEIR EMPLOYEES PARK IN THE RESIDENTS PARKING. This community could care less about their own residents . It isn't just one employee parking in the residents parking , IT IS ALL OF THEM. It just so happens to be the parking in front of my building . Not to mention one of them hit my car with their car door. Professional right ? Keep in mind there is PLENTY of uncovered parking they could utilize . On to the next issue . A lot right ? Now for security that we have , LOL. Security isn't much help , they sit on the steps of apartments of all hours of the nights talking on their phones . One night security was so loud I had to go outside in order for him to even move . Keep on mind this was about 12 AM. There has been car break ins , apartment break ins , you name it. If security was actually enforced maybe that wouldn't have happened ? Next issue: the GATED COMMUNITY. This community advertises that it is a gated community, well used to until I recently pointed that out . It is now gone off the website , too bad I still have the floor plan papers from when I moved in that advertised them as a gated community . Oops? Lol. Anyways the drive thru gate has now been open for over a month . In this time there has been car break-ins and everything else you could imagine . Let's just hope they have liability insurance because hey actually have to cover that. Considering these issues could've been prevented had the gate been operable. I've called numerous times about the issue and their response : \" we are waiting on our vendor \". Must be one hell of a vendor for it to take this long . Now the walk thru gates , I don't think one of them actually works . Meaning they don't lock. So anyone whom wants in , just comes in. So more people whom don't reside here . What's next ? Their employees and management . None of the issues are ever resolved ,the manager will hardly come out of the office to talk to you face to face . So this makes communication very hard . If you have a work order you will wait week on end for your problem to get fixed and or more likely not get fixed .
