It is also right next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum. The R&RHOF museum was included as a choice destination while we were visiting Cleveand. \n\nA full comprehensive breakfast came with our room package. It was an impressive spread as far as most full breakfasts are defined: Including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, country style potatoes, oatmeal, various pastries/muffins, all kinds of different bread and/or toast choices, yogurt, fresh fruit, 5 juice choices, coffee, milk, and tea. \nThere is a chef/cook that makes omelets fresh to order in front of you that also includes lots of different additions that can be mixed in with the eggs including veggies, meats, and real cheddar cheese. \nI will admit that the omelet is massive. It is seriously and obnoxiously too big to eat when he is done cooking it. It is literally like eating at least 4 eggs along with the mix ins/additions. The eggs in the buffet warmer are always over cooked and taste like the pre scrambled egg you can buy in a carton. \nThe food was acceptable in quality and quantity, but I am not so sure about the value. \n\nThe Starbucks inside the main lobby is a cool addition. \n\n The shuttle service they offer is a nice touch, but the shuttles are very run down and old looking. They were not very clean inside either. They smelled a little. They are also very slow in picking you up if you call them to get a ride to and from the hotel. \nThe shuttle drivers were very friendly though. The whole hotel staff overall were very cordial and helpful. I was very impressed with their professional demeanor. \n\nThe room was OK, but I was hoping for it to be a little more fresh/clean and posh looking,....or basically updated. We stayed 3 nights - including over the weekend. The end of the day price was almost 700.00! Ouch. I just don't think it was worth paying that hefty amount considering the overall package - including the total experience. The bill included the garage parking for our car, the breakfast, and the special lounge we had access to, but only tried once. The lounge offered a limited choice of a few appetizers and some alcohol. Since we are not drinkers, and ate dinner out every night, it was a waste for us. It really just wasn't worth it considering the big picture. \n\nI would love to give them more than 2 stars, but I just can't justify it considering how much we paid - for what we really got.\nThe last night we were there, some really loud and rude people were hanging out and yelling on our floor's hallway during the later evening hours, and for quite a long time. Apparently classless and uncouth hill jacks stay in all sorts of places; including the Hilton Doubletree. \n\nI think the next time we come to town, we will be trying out another hotel.\nHopefully we won't end up in the poorhouse after staying at another hotel."^^ .
