Generally, the wait staff has always been very friendly and attentive. At this visit, it seemed like they were understaffed and just did not care about the restaurant patrons. Also, some of the runners looked as if they just crawled out of bed. Good Food is generally recognized as a good spot for an intimate dinner; as such, I would think their staff would care more about appearances and at least tuck their t-shirt in. \n\nOnto the good (the food). We had the sangria, pommes frites, falafel, gnocchi, steamed bun, and the korean beef. The sangria was excellent, I could drink those all night. The pommes frites and the falafel are great apps. The pommes frites were excellent as always. The falafel was very tasty and the tzatziki sauce was wonderful, I wish they would put more of the sauce on the plate. The gnocchi is very reminiscent of chicken and dumplings, it is delicious! I haven't ever had a bad pasta at Good Food. The steamed bun was really great, it's a Good Food staple and a must-try! The only bad part about our actual food was the Korean Beef. It was fatty and we couldn't even finish the beef. Such a disappointment as it has previously always been my favorite dish at Good Food.\n\nOverall, not the best experience as we were looking to have a romantic intimate dinner. I certainly won't go back when I want attentive service for the rare date-night."^^ . . "2015-08-23T00:00:00"^^ . "3"^^ . "1"^^ .
