This hotel was renovated at one point and it looks fab. The lobby was busy and bright, but it felt like a happening place - if that makes sense. We made our way up to our room. Once we got off the elevator on our floor I noticed the hallways - The hallway carpets were great - plush and stylish - when we walked into the room it was nice. \nNewly renovated. The floors were laminate plank flooring - something i am not used to here in Canada - carpet seems to be the norm, but it was a nice clean look. The room was minimalist but very stylish and well thought out. There was clearly a design team behind this new look - and it works very well .\nThe bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side, but I think that likely has to do with the fact that there is not much you can do to renovate the bathroom size, but the actual amenities and fixtures were very nice. \nThe room itself was impeccably clean. \nOnly bad note of the whole experience was the restaurant, we went down for a bite, and there was a really sullen looking server wandering around - she wandered about and completely ignored us - I finally called her over - and in an attempt to make small talk, asked her about the staff levels in the restaurant. She told me she was the only server. WTF? We waited again quite awhile for her to come back.. She took so long that we left and didnt order anything. We went to the gift shop and grabbed junk food snacks. \nAll in all though - other than the dreadful restaurant service ( the restaurant itself looked nice ) I would definitely stay here again - the rooms were great, and the location to the airport was excellent."^^ .
