I was actually really excited to go because I had seen such great reviews about them online and I wanted to change up my hair. When I got to the salon I showed my stylist pictures and was very descriptive with what I wanted. To my surprise, it did not come out as good as the stylist chalked it up to be. In fact, it was awful. There were spots of my hair that she completely missed and within days the color had completely washed out. I wrote to Kane and Company explaining my experience and the owner told me to come back and they would fix my hair free of charge. I was very pleased that he seemed so apologetic and was willing to do such a nice thing for me. I called to schedule my appointment and they said I would be with the same stylist. I asked why I was going to be put with the same person (considering she already messed up my hair once) and she told me it was because she had already worked with me before and she was the one of the \"best\" ombre stylists they had. I reluctantly accepted the response and scheduled my appointment. When it was time to come in for my appointment, I explained to the stylist that I wanted her to make my ombre a carmel blonde color rather than red for fear of the color washing out again within days. She said that was perfectly fine then came back and told me they had to charge me $25! I was appalled considering they told me that they would not charge me to \"fix\" it. When I went up to the counter to pay, I asked why they were charging me and she said it was for the color. I was confused considering she would have had to put the other color in my hair for free, but when I switched it to a darker blonde it all of a sudden cost me $25. I reluctantly paid the $25 and left. When I got in my car I looked in my mirror and realized that one side of my hair was more blonde than the other. When I went home I showed all three of my roommates both sides of my hair and they pointed out that one side of my hair was lighter than the other. I explained the entire situation to my mom, so she called and asked to speak with a manager. The manager she talked to was very understanding and agreed with my mom that it wasn't right that they charged me but she did not have the power to refund me my $25. She said she would speak to the owner and have him call my mom back. They talked on the phone the next day and he was EXTREMELY rude. He told my mom I would have to come back in for a THIRD time to get my hair redone. My mom said she would simply like to have my $25 refunded (not even the initial $100 I spent the first time) and he said \"well that's not happening\". I will NEVER return to Kane and Co and I would highly advise anyone reading this not to either. They don't care about anything except for your money."^^ . . "2"^^ . "2014-03-19T00:00:00"^^ . .
