"This place is a shell of it's former self since the owners of Starsky took over. \n\nIt formerly boasted the best produce in Mississauga and also specialty meats, cheese and grocery items with an Italian focus. \n\nThe produce selection is terrible now by comparison and the quality has also dropped. \n\nIn terms of specialty grocery the Italian meats and cheeses are all but gone and the only addition is the largest selection of frozen perogies in the GTA lol. \n\nDespite the drop in quality the prices have remained essentially the same which is no longer worth it. \n\nThe customer service also used to be great with short wait times and friendly staff. Now most of the the old staff are gone and everyone remaining is grumpy. The lines were very long with fewer staff early in the first month but have got better because there are now fewer return customers. \n\nThe strange part is that Starsky itself on Dundas is FAR better so I was hopeful when they took over it would maintain at least the quality of their own store. \n\nInstead it seems they bought it to let it die on the vine and kill local competition.
