"If you're in the Tempe area and need a good hearty breakfast at a great price, stop by here and get the Spanish Omlette w/machaca and you won't need to eat again the rest of the day!! For $6.58 (out the door w/tax) you get a giant omlette which looks like it must be 3-4 eggs, filled with at least 1/2lb of shredded beef & grilled veggies (peppers, onions, tomatoes), a giant scoop of grilled diced potatoes, and a huge side of rice & beans! Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, piping hot fresh off the grill. When topped with some of the their fresh homemade pico it is out of this world! I wanted to eat the entire thing so bad, but rather than do so and regret it for the rest of the morning I saved the other half for lunch. Can't beat getting a delicious breakfast and lunch for under $7! They also have amazing breakfast burritos for $3-$4 which are just as hearty and filling, but today the Spanish Omlette grabbed my eye and did a very good job at filling my belly for the day. I think next time I'll add jalapenos though because it could have used a little extra kick, other than that it was perfect. \n\nI still don't understand how this place isn't ranked as one of the top Mexican places in Phoenix. It may have to do with the \"berto's\" at the end of their name so everyone immediately associates them with the Filiberto's/Julioberto's/Eriberto's/etc. fast food/take-out places, but this is a totally different type of place and not related to those others in any way (in fact, none of them are even related to each other!). It is not \"Mexcian Fast Food\" at all, in fact it's not fast at all - I've waited as long as 20 minutes for an order before. Not because they're slow, but because everything is made 100% from scratch when you order it and they get pretty busy around the main meal times. I try to go either late morning to beat the lunch rush, or mid-afternoon for a late lunch, those are the times when it is the last crowded. \n\nDo yourself a favor and check this place out! Or better yet, don't, and let it remain one of the best kept Mexican food secrets in the state. :)"^^ . "2016-06-06T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . . . "0"^^ . .
