I had come in thirty minutes early, because I was already in the area. By the time I was able to find a magazine to read, I was already being ushered in to get my x-rays done. \n\nHaving film being stuck in your mouth is never enjoyable for anyone, but the attendant was very kind. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout. Next, I was seen by the dentist. He was very friendly. He took the time to personalize my visit by asking about my time abroad and what I learned from it. After he finished with the exam, I was moved for my cleaning.\n\nThe hygienist, Claire, was very attentive. She noticed that I was breathing through my mouth due to my allergies. If you take over the counter medicine, it can dry out your mouth, so she suggested a rinse that will help with that. \n\nThe next person I got to meet was Diana who did my polish and flossing. We had a chance to talk about world politics. She was very opinionated and I enjoyed listening to her take on our country.\n\nDuring this visit, I was able to interact with six different people including the receptionist and the person in charge of finances. Each one gave me individualized attention and allowed me to brush up on my social skills. Instead of being my awkward self, I was able to comfortably converse with all of them. That is rare and even more so when I am sitting in a chair with someone poking around in my mouth. (No innuendo intended)"^^ .
