"2014-07-29T00:00:00"^^ . "I knew about Island Sushi and Grill because I order from their Poke Express every time I am in Vegas. In addition to the poke I would order, I would sometimes order from the grill:\n\n - Katsu musubi: the spam is breaded with the same breading they use for chicken katsu. Adds a yummy crunch to the block of delicious goodness that is spam, rice and sauce. \n- Goteburg musubi - The portuguese sausage also with rice. Yum!\n- Malasadas - like a creme filled donut. \n\nIve recently also had them cater my sister's bachelorette party which was held at the Vdara. Their catering menu is available online. I ordered a small tray (feeds about 10-15 people) each of the: \n- kalbi ($70): good quality beef perfectly grilled. No sogginess or rubberiness.\n- chicken katsu ($36): Still even crunchy after it was delivered. \n- garlic chicken ($36) : So simple yet so flavorful\n- mac salad ($24) and rice ($17): must haves when ordering Hawaiian food.\n\nI also ordered 6 pounds of the amazing poke. My order was delivered to the hotel at the time I had requested and without any issues. I received a call when they were on their way and when the food arrived at the hotel. The poke was delivered on ice.\n\nEverything was delicious - as expected - and a big hit with the ladies. I was a bit nervous that it would be too much food for 14 girls, but the small trays turned out to be the perfect amount. We had enough for dinner, for a late night meal after hitting the club, and even for breakfast! \n\nNeedless to say, I highly recommend Island Sushi for a nice meal and/or for catered events."^^ . .
