"Oh, boy, getting old.....\n\nwent to Mandalay Beach concert last night....Lost 80's Live\nfelt like I warped into the movie Cocoon, until I realized I was just as old....booooo\n\nin any case, was money well spent, got deal on Groupon for 25 tix, went with friends from high school\n\nthe concert started with some of the lesser bands (no offense)\nBoys Don't Cry....I Wanna Be a Cowboy\nGene Loves Jezebel....Desire\nAnything Box.....Living in Oblivion\n\nThe Flirts.....Don't Put Another DIme in the Jukebox\nMary Jane Girls....In My House\n\nAnimotion.....Obsession\nWhen in Rome.....The Promise\n\nNaked Eyes.....Always Something There to Remind Me, Promises Promises\nWang Chung....Dance Hall Days, Everyone Have Fun Tonight\nFlock of Seagulls.....I Ran\n\nABC......Look of Love, How to Be a Millionaire, Be Near Me\n\nall in all, well worth the 25 bucks, helped to afford the 8/beers...haha\nmost of the band still held their own, sounding pretty good for being 25-30yrs past their hit making days.....loved reliving the fun times of the 80's\n\nI think that both the girl bands (The Flirts, Mary Jane Girls) were excellent, sounding almost like they did back in the day\n\nWang Chung was also pretty good, had the audience liven up even though they played 2hrs into the concert.....gotta Wang Chung Tonight!!!!\n\nFlock of Seagulls was maybe the only disappointment, as for some reason they tended to move away from the use of synthesizer instruments for which was a part of their claim to the 80's.....not sure why, but it made them sound like a bad cover band\nhave seen them a few time in recent years, I am sure I am not the only one to bring this up, and yet they have not changed.....\n\nABC was the final/headline act.....a great end to the show. Martin Fry can still belt out those hits effortlessly (at least he didn't look strained). A really nice performance by ABC, played 3 of their hits, although they probably could have added a few more\n\nAgain, for the price, a really nice bargain. I hope the Lost 80's continues on for as many years as possible, this is the 4th annual one I have attended. Have pretty much never been disappointed by the acts performing\n\nSo for all of us old farts, enjoy the music of the 80's while these guys are still able to perform!"^^ .
