The plush rooms and ornate china are enough to send any woman or man (even!) into awe and everything appears to be better quality than the other high tea places I've seen in Toronto.\nWe decided to forgo tacky Christmas sweaters this year and insert a little class in our late Christmas exchange. The girls and I rounded up for Twilight tea and extended our little pinkies with every sip.\nService was great and the server explained each item even though it was moderately busy. The tea was excellent and encompassed a wide selection. I had the cotillion which was a light tea blended with rose petals.\nThe scones were divine. The light dusting of powdered sugar, slathering of tarty strawberry/raspberry preserves, and a dollop of devon cream just sent me into a swoon! The petit fours were deliciously unique in their own bite-sized way.\nHowever, I was not fond of the quiche and mini sandwiches (more like mini rolls) at all.\nAlthough it's quite expensive, I left quite full after all those tiny morsels.\nI had a great time! But unfortunately, I have to give it 3 stars as I only enjoyed less than half their menu."^^ . "2015-01-29T00:00:00"^^ .
