The employee doing my nails quizzed me on how I found the spot, and I admitted I had read reviews online. I asked why they didn't have a website; she said it takes too much time (fair enough). I suggested posting even an image of a price list online as I know that's important. So, for reference, I paid $35 for a spa pedi & shellac removal (paid in cash).\n\nThey were accommodating in allowing me to start early. I chose my polish and sat down. They use OPI and Essie. The location itself was very clean. They were playing the loop of the gag videos (why is this a thing?!). I was asked if I wanted a razor (yes, please). After I told the staff member that I am active, she proceeded to tell me multiple times that I \"cannot\" wear running shoes that evening. I've never had a salon flat out tell me to just not wear shoes, ever. I get that it can scuff, but a properly applied basic pedicure should stick - especially if using quality nailpolish like OPI! On a positive note, everything appeared sanitary. \n\nOtherwise, the employee was a bit aggressive in trying to upsell me to other things. I'm old school in that part of the experience is feeling relaxed, and I felt on edge. Plus, the constant \"no shoes\" comments bothered me. Luckily it was warm out and I could walk home in sandals."^^ . . "0"^^ . "2016-04-27T00:00:00"^^ .
