I teach at Pitt and my Chinese graduate students recommended that I try it. (You know it's got to be good when the Chinese students regularly eat there.)\n\nSeating inside is exceedingly limited, and How Lee does *very* brisk take-out.\n\nThere's a great Sichuan menu, and the Americanized menu is similarly good. Many Americanized menus use a heavy hand with sauces, sometimes to disguise the poor quality of the ingredients.\n\nHere, the ingredients are great, you can taste the quality of the veggies and proteins, and everything is cooked really well. Sauces are used perfectly to my taste -- just enough without overpowering the dish.\n\nI recommend sampling the whole menu. I'm not a huge fan of Sichuan pepper, but I'll make an exception for How Lee - spicy, hot, and really great."^^ .
