I checked out visions and it look nice so I got back to Tucson I called and rented a studio apartment. The next week, when I got to see the location of my apartment for the first time, it was right by the 101 freeway. I asked if there would be a lot of freeway noise at night when I was trying to sleep and employee told me that it was hardly noticeable. Well, that wasn't true, so I had them switch me to another location and had to pay $300 to the furniture rental company to have them move the furniture to another part of the same complex. When I asked the apartment staff to help me cover the cost, they would have nothing of it. After being in the new apartment for about three weeks, I wasn't there for about one week, and then when I got back the electricity had been shut off. They hadn't transferred the electricity to the new apartment number and so everything in my refrigerator and freezer went bad. Again, when I asked why they didn't inform me that I would need to transfer the electricity to the new apartment, they said that it is my responsibility. I can understand that, but I haven't rented an apartment for over 25 years, and I didn't even think about it. The new location had electricity for 2 to 3 weeks, so I figured that they just transferred it to the new apartment automatically. It would've been nice for the apartment staff to at least mention to me, after they stuck me in a lousy apartment location in the first place, that because I was switching locations that the electricity doesn't automatically transfer over if you switch apartments."^^ . .
