. "I stopped by this particular OfficeMax store to have 2 copies made on some nice paper. There were two employees working in the copy center and I was the only one in line. One of them came to the counter and promptly said that they were working on other orders; I would have to place an order and wait for them to call me when it was ready (presumably the next day). When I said it was only 2 copies, he replied that others had been waiting several hours for their orders - where they were waiting I don't know; there were no other customers at the counter. I asked if I could make the copies myself. He said I could and proceeded to show me a small ream of parchment paper that cost 19.99. I wasn't going to spend twenty bucks for 2 copies. I asked him where the nearest Staples was and he basically pointed me in that direction. \n\nAt least he said \"sorry\" before I left. But it seemed to me that in the time it took to give me the \"we're too busy too help you right now\" story and then show me where the specialty paper was, he could have run off 2 copies. \n\nI also saw one other employee by checkout doing nothing. The store looked empty. \n\nI then drove 6 miles to the nearest Staples. At their copy center a single employee was busy with another customer, but he was able to multitask and help me as well. He put my copies in a bag and said, \"free gift today.\" He didn't know I had come from OfficeMax or my story. But after he gave me my copies gratis, I filled him in. \n\nGuess where I won't be going the next time I need copies or office supplies? Hint: it rhymes with \"lawless tax.\"\n\nP.S. I received an email from the Office Max corporate office informing me that they take customer service seriously and I would be getting a call from the manage of the store in question. I never did receive that call, making me wonder if the manager was the guilty party."^^ . "0"^^ . "2017-06-25T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . . . "0"^^ . "2"^^ .
