"2017-08-13T00:00:00"^^ . . "0"^^ . . . "I lived here last year. Don't be fooled by the five star reviews - the leasing office rewarded the tenants with food if we showed them our 5 star yelp review. Do not lease here. Vertex is very overpriced for the quality of the amenities given and the quality/size of the apartments. The staff were never rude to me but they are very limited in the amount of help they can give. \n\nWhen I first moved in, they gave me a room with a broken lock so I couldn't even lock it. In addition, the lights in the outside stairway to my building were burnt out. For weeks I walked up the stairs in the dark. I filed a service request to have them fixed and my request was marked as complete a few days later. When I returned the next night, the lights were still burnt out. I paid approx. $900 without electricity for the cheapest 2 bed/2 bath. The walls are SO thin I swear I could hear every single conversation of the people walking below me by the pool and I lived on the 3rd floor. The parking garage's \"secure\" gate was constantly left open as well. There was always such a strange, pungent smell in my hallway and the elevators. The shower water smelt like metal and I had to get a special shower filter just to feel safe bathing in the water. No joke. The wifi was very spotty and went down for hours without notice!\n\nYou are supposed to have a fab to get into the complex but the residents let anyone standing by the doors through. I was catcalled multiple times while just walking through the complex and never felt very safe at all.. My parent's tried contacting them regarding multiple points in the lease and they ignored all their emails.\n\nTake your money elsewhere!!!"^^ . "0"^^ . "1"^^ . "1"^^ .
