So it's 3 yrs later and time to end my lease. 90 days before my lease was up, I was told to contact a leasing specialist and schedule a pre-inspection. I wasn't sure if I wanted another BMW, another brand, if I wanted to lease again, or finance, so I wanted to start the process and explore my options. I also had some damage to the bottom of my front bumper, so I wanted to go ahead & get that looked at to see if I was going to be charged for that. FYI, a lease specialist is just a sales person who will inspect your car and promptly try to sell you another one (I wasn't prepared for that). The person I was set up with was Lesley Schmidt. She was super nice, inspected my car, and told me that the damage to the bumper was \"normal wear and tear\". I told her that I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for my next vehicle and she then proceeded to try to get me into another BMW for the next hour or so. I went home and though about things for a couple of days and decided that I wanted to make my next car budget as low as possible (putting me well below BMW prices). I followed up with Lesley and left her a message with my decision and never heard from her again. A week before it was time to turn in the car, I had to contact her to see what I needed to do to turn it in. I made another appointment with her to turn the car in, arrived at my appointment right on time, and had to wait over 30 min because she was selling a car. Finally, she had someone else come out to help me with my final inspection and return. Kwasai was so nice and took one look at the bumper and said I would be charged for that. I told him about the \"normal wear & tear\" conversation that I had with Lesley a couple of months back and he said I would have to discuss that with her. We finally got Lesley to come out, she looked at the bumper, and said that she would never consider that as normal wear & tear. I reminded her of the conversation and she denied that she ever said that. I asked if she was calling me a liar then, and the conversation got pretty heated. It ended with Leslie saying \"We're not taking your car and I'm finished with this conversation. You can take your car somewhere else.\" I asked for a manager, and conveniently, he was busy and couldn't meet with me. Kwasi was so apologetic and finished the lease return process with me. I agreed to pay for the bumper damage, at a discounted price. I've never been spoken to like this from an employee of a business and have definitely never essentially been called a liar. This was super disappointing from a brand like BMW, not to mention that this was my 3rd BMW product. I just wanted to share my experience and warn everyone about Lesley Schmidt - she is the reason why the \"shady car salesman\" stereotype exists."^^ . "0"^^ . "1"^^ . . "0"^^ .
