You'll work with many people throughout the whole process if you do move forward with them. They'll provide an informational folder that talks about everything you'll need to know and about the technology they use. \n\nI also worked with Rena and Carolina and they're both awesome as well. Dr Paul Casey is great. \n\nThe initial consultation is free and they'll run all the tests to check if you're a viable candidate and just to get an overall idea of your eyes and its condition. After that, they'll have Dr Casey go over the results with you and to answer any questions you may have. I came in with a pretty good idea since Tiffany told me about her entire experience. \n\nThe last step would be to discuss pricing. Depending on your insurance you could receive a discount as well. If you think there's a high chance you'll proceed I would come with a DD so that you can get dilated and then schedule your actual procedure. If you wear contacts you will have to forego them about 7-10 days prior to your procedure. \n\nEveryone heals differently but you'll be able to see fine the next day. The day of procedure you should definitely sleep the entire day. I took melatonin on my way home from the procedure and knocked out for most of the day. You can wake up to have dinner and then go back to bed. You will have to deal with the protective glasses for a whole week so that you don't have a chance of touching or rubbing your eyes during the night. \n\nAfter the procedure, you'll have a follow-up the next day, then a week, a month, 3 months, 6 months, etc. I'm only scheduled up to 6 months for now but there should be more after the 6 months follow-up. \n\nThink I got pretty much everything. Feel free to message me privately if you have any questions :)."^^ .
