"I have had a membership to massage envy in the past and it was ok.I don't have a problem with the membership idea.\n\nIn fact, I was looking to open a new membership so I got online to schedule an appointment. The site said someone would contact me shortly to schedule the appointment. I understood that it was not guaranteed that the days/times I requested would be available so I patiently waited for someone to call me. After a week or so of not hearing from anyone, I called the location where I was planning to get a massage.\n\nThe women I spoke to was very rude and just kept arguing with me about not receiving any information about me trying to schedule an appointment. I understand that this may be true and there may be a problem with the website, but she didn't have to he rude and make me feel like it was my fault. She could have just offered to schedule me an appointment. I finally just asked her if she could schedule something for me.\n\nOf course they didn't have anything for 2 weeks. I generally prefer a female masseuse, but of course all that was available was a male so I took it. Then, I waited my two weeks and was very excited when they called to confirm the day before. Unfortunately, they called me back only about a half hour later to tell me that they needed to reschedule me because the massuese was sick.\n\nNaturally there was nothing available for that same day. They asked if I could come in on a Tuesday. I informed them that no, it had to be a weekend because I work and don't live very close to the location and I have small children. She then asked me if I was sure I couldn't come on a Friday.\n\nUm no, I just explained my situation. So it was going to be another 2 weeks. At that point it had been such a hassle and unpleasant experience I told her just to cancel it. I will NEVER consider going to massage envy again.\n\nAwful setup and customer service.\n\nI called that day and made an appointment at a salon much closer for the same day my massage at massage envy was supposed to be, no hassle...wonderful customer service.Massage envy clearly has much to learn"^^ .
