Either because we find what we need at the Fry's, Safeways or Winco's of the area. One always worries about being the patron who looks \"like a hockey fan in an art museum\". Then there's the language barrier. It's probably human nature...\n\nThat said, if one wants certain authentic ingredients for quality homemade ethnic cuisine, one has to step outa one's comfort zone and man up, right? In this case, El Rancho Market -- and it's pleasant employees - do not disappoint!\n\nThe wonderful woman behind the deli counter provided all the insight an inexperienced queso creator could ever need. Knowing just enough English to make for a fun & informative exchange, she enthusiastically encouraged sampling, offered suggestions, then directed us to her male co-worker at the other end of the counter, forcefully directing him to QUICKLY provide us some chorizo! It was comical, and yet, endearing at the same time. We hade to admit, we don't experience that kind of service at Fry's!\n\nWe chose to walk a couple more aisles after getting what we came for, and grabbed a few more items. At the register, we were greeted by an English-speaking girl who, gratefully, was very good at \"profiling\" who spoke English and who spoke the native tongue at El Rancho.\n\nAll in all, a wonderful experience. I left 1 star out because the casual, in-store picnic area significantly narrows any walking traffic to the deli, and it could've used some clean-up. No big deal.\n\nWe will definitely be heading back to El Rancho Market! Muy Bueno!"^^ . . "0"^^ . "4"^^ . .
