It wasn't the friendly environment described, the nail tech that did my mani/pedi (jimmy) spoke only to tell me to put my feet in or out of water, same with my hands. He over scrubbed my heels, quite tender, and very red the next morning. During the manicure, as jimmy was using the metal implement to push back cuticles, he dug it into the edges very hard. When I flinched, he said \" ow, ow, ow\" like it was funny, two of my fingers started to bleed at the sides where he basically dug the metal into them. He did not acknowledge the blood nor apologize. I was told by someone else that I was done, jimmy walked away after clear polish and never said another word. I let them know I still had to pay, and was told he should have asked prior to painting my fingernails. Maybe they are friendly earlier in the day/week, possibly by Saturday they are tired, that's understandable and I don't need to have a long conversation, but at least say hello. But there is no excuse for digging a metal implement into my fingers, seeing them start to bleed, wipe away the blood and not say a word."^^ . "2016-03-27T00:00:00"^^ .
