"I've been here twice--once for a romantic anniversary getaway evening with my sweetie, and once for a multi-day conference.\n\nThis hotel is in a great location right near Cleveland's Theater District. It's also not too far from CSU, so people who are checking out CSU (where I will be attending law school this fall) would do well to stay here--it's MUCH better than the hotels immediately near CSU, which could very well easily give someone a bad idea about Cleveland. Also, the staff is very attentive to detail--I joined their rewards program and signed up to receive various types of free goodies, and all of them were present when I got to the room, including a free nice sized bottle of wine and cookies! Make sure you ask for a room facing the lake on a high floor, and you'll get an AMAZING view!\n\nTwo things to watch out for: the food (at least the food I had at the conference, which could very well be different from the food that's served at the restaurant or in room service) was not all that great. It's not a big deal, though--Cleveland's got great restaurants just a few blocks away! The parking situation really, really stinks, though. I hate using valet parking, and when I arrived for the romantic evening late on a Saturday night they told me to track down a security guard so he could open up the parking garage across the street. Well, that took a LONG time and a lot of running around--not exactly my idea of a romantic time! Had I arrived earlier, this would not have been an issue.\n\nAdditionally, I believe that this place is a great value. It's cheaper than Cleveland's super-fancy hotels yet still very beautiful and luxurious.\n\nI would recommend this to out-of-town guests, with a caveat to be forewarned about the parking situation!"^^ .
