"I'm new to the area and we just got a puppy. We took our puppy to this place for his first exam. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. Below are the reasons why\n1. I asked a question about crate training and the vet told me we will give you an information packet regarding crate training. I get home to look in the \"packet\" and it's a print out from a website (www.veterinarypartner.com)....ummm, I have a little thing called the internet at my house and I could have downloaded this information for free. I really needed some advise from a vet on what is the best way to crate train a dog. Epic fail #1\n2. My puppy wasn't eating well. The vet did an exam and they totaled up a bill of $200 in tests and medicine that we would need pay in order to see what was wrong. Ummmm, what is this a money grab? I called the puppy's breeder and she gave me a homemade recipe to stimulate his appetite. Ummm, the phone call was free....and this place feels like a massive money grab. Epic fail #2\n3. I know that puppies have worms and can have parasites. The vet wanted to put him on an antibiotic for parasites. (Disclaimer, I had my kids with me at the vet and I was running out of patience for everyone). So I ended up paying for an antibiotic ($50) which in hindsight he did not need because we did a stool sample which they looked at and diagnosed him with Giardia. Okay, so he ACTUALLY needed a different antibiotic.....So when I asked the vet why we didn't just wait until the stool sample came back before putting him on an antibiotic??? The response was a little convoluted with \"well....ummm...\" There wan't a solid reason. It's interesting the antibiotic that they said he needed was $50 but the one he really needed for Giardia was $16...Ummmmmm, Epic fail #3\n4. We walked in and there were several dogs out back \"playing\". Actually, they looked miserable. The space is waaaaay to small for 10 dogs to run around. There were no dogs running around. They were just standing there while some lady \"watched\" them (aka played on her cell phone). I'm sure the owners of those dogs were paying for \"play time\" not \"cell phone time\". Epic fail #4. \n4. To walk into this place, your office visit is going to be $50....say what?? My son's specialty visits at a pediatric ophthalmologist's office is less than this. I know someone has to pay for the fancy brick you have in your building but it certainly is not going to be me. Epic fail #5\n\nThis place is just a money grab. You should stay away. I'm a commercial real estate agent as well. I know this building most likely cost over a $1M to build. They need to recoop these costs and they have built it into your overall animal's health bill."^^ . . "2017-04-22T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . "1"^^ . . "2"^^ . . "4"^^ .
