This alone is enough to make Brasserie V a destination. \n\nMake no mistake though, this is a small bar and it's often crowded. When you add slow service, a visit during a prime eating hour can seem excruciatingly long.\n\nTheir burgers are more of an old-fashioned 'chopped steak' on a bun. Very un-burger-like, in that they're lean and meaty instead of greasy. But they're great. Fries come with two rotating aiolis and are delicious home cut double-fried delicacies, crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. The mussels with fries is worth ordering, though I don't think their take on shellfish is anything spectacular. \n\nThey have a superb selection of Belgian beer here, one to rival big-city gastropubs."^^ . .
