"This may very well be one of the most unique and fun little businesses in the burgh, and definitely a highlight of the Strip.\n\nI first experienced the Olive Tap via the Burgh Bash Yelp event. My tongue went on a whirlwind tour of rich flavors and fascinating taste combos that could inspire a myriad of sauces, dressings, marinades and everything and anything involving olive oils or balsamic vinegars.\n\nThe host is a very sweet and energetic gal who will guide you through the offerings available to truly enhance your desire to add zip and ginger to your everyday foods. They have a variety of rubs, dips, spreads and dressings pre-bottled or jarred, but the absolute highlight of the shop is the variety of tankards containing olive oils and vinegars that have been beautifully infused with flavors, ranging from fruity, to savory, and even as far as the currently trendy 'bacon'.\n\nMy very, very favorite was the Jalapeno olive oil, which actually brought to mind the flavor 'green'. I know that may sound a little silly, but there are two things that have brought this to my mind in my munching life. Every once in a blue moon I will have an order of papadam in an Indian restaurant that is served up with a side of the green mint chutney for dipping...and the chutney is SO fresh and vibrant with the mint and pepper flavors that to me it actually tastes green...like fresh out of the garden. The jalapeno olive oil gave me the same sensation. Like dipping a fresh beautifully green jalapeno in the most amazingly fragrant of olive oils.\n\nThe oils and vinegars would add wonder to any meal, and would certainly impress anyone you may be cooking for. The balsamic vinegars come in all kinds of exotic and beautifully balanced flavors, from the usual raspberry to mango, herbals like rosemary and oregano, and even chocolate. The olive oils range from rosemary to chipotle, a variety of fruit essences, and yes...even bacon.\n\nThe prices are a bit high, but making these kinds of things yourself...I can't even begin to imagine the process required. \n\nThere are tiny shot glasses around the various tanks, and you are free to savor the goods. This can just be a simply amazing and fun experience for a visitor, yourself, or for any foodie on your list of friends. And if you ARE the gourmet chef type, I would imagine this to be a MUST stop for your cooking needs.\n\nDrop in and take your tongue on a mini taste adventure!"^^ . .
