"I'm REALLY not one to go out of my way to post reviews, especially on here, but all the negative reviews really need to be straightened out.\n\nFirst, I'll start with my background. I'm a 23 year old woman with a very high hairline from birth, and have worn bangs for a majority of my life to hide it. I also have very fine hair which is thinning in the crown, AKA female pattern hair loss. As you might imagine, I didn't want to sit around and wait for it to get worse. \n\nNow, I had done a lot of research on hair transplant procedures and the surgeons that do them. (Word of advice: if it looks too good to be true, it is). There are several surgeons in the Arizona area as well as California and Vegas, so I didn't rule anyone out. It was at this point that I was really impressed with Dr.Friedman and all the information that they provide on their website. They had a video of a woman that went through the exact procedure I wanted, which was really reassuring. \n\nWhen I went to the consult I had all my questions ready and written down (as you should do for any surgery!). The consultant walked me through the expectations, and I ran through all my questions. They also gave me all the price points as well as an ESTIMATE for how many grafts I would require. (When they extract the grafts from the back of your head and they can only estimate how much they get). So yes, expect a price window. If you are unwilling to go over a certain price, you obviously need to communicate that to them.\n\nI also met Dr. Friedman briefly, he was very professional. No, he is not warm and fuzzy, but neither am I. All I care about is his work.\n\nAnyways, I was very happy with the answers to my questions. Here are a few things you should know:\n\nRecovery is really only four days (you must have on ointment those days). But you will be red in the affected area for at least a week or two, so plan your time off accordingly. I had bangs so I just took the four days off. \n\nThe procedure takes all day, you will need someone to drop off and pick you up.\n\nYou will get bloodwork prior to surgery to make sure you're a good candidate.\n\nMy first procedure would lower my hairline, but I will need 1 or 2 more procedures in the future to thicken my hair in areas where it is thinning. This is a common thing.\n\nIt has now been almost four months since my procedure and my grafts started growing in at about 2 months (this is sooner than most). At this point my hair grafts are under a centimeter in length and don't look significant yet, but that takes time. I also take biotin daily to help speed up hair growth (if you're no on it already you're missing out).\n\nSo yes my experience was fantastic, I will be returning for all future procedures. Cheers to great hair."^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ .
