Well actually what has been made over could have easily been renovated by me, and I'm no pro! Well tonight I had to eat, and unfortunately I have no car or no easy way of getting around. For a November night it is quite cold, so I really didn't feel like walking very far. Basically I have two options. 1) Tim Hortons or 2) to eat the hotel Bar/Bistro. I choose the hotel, and every bite I took I was regretting my decision. The bar itself is fine, I had a Canadian dark beer and it was fine, actually I had a couple because it was pretty good. The food, my question to myself was...are you going to ask the bartender if its fresh. Basically, that's a dumb question because it is for sure not. The hotel is dead, nobody is at the bar, the food won't be fresh. I ordered chicken wings and sweet potato fries. If I had one thought for each of those dishes this is what it would be:\nWings - are these pigeon wings!! They're friggin tiny!\nFries - oh boy either these were cooked and frozen and recooked, or they were made fresh and not cooked long enough. Logically, some of them are still frozen.\n\nI don't really know this area so unfortunately I can't tell you where to stay, but if you do stay here make sure you have a car so you can get some decent food for dinner.\n\nThe breakfast is decent, not real complaints there. Continental with meat and hashbrowns - who's gonna be that picky about breakfast!"^^ . "0"^^ .
